Vintage Bouillon Kub Porcelain Sign
This large vintage porcelain sign features unique graphics along with historic typography of its time. Porcelain was used because it was durable, fireproof, and easy to mass produce at the time. It was manufactured in the 1930-40s in France and was imported to the U.S. in 2014. Bouillon cubes were introduced by Julius Maggi (1846-1912) in Switzerland and distributed throughout Europe. The Antique Garage acquired this art-filled piece of history in 2019 in FL and brought it to Colorado. This classic art would make a fun decorative addition to a kitchen, restaurant, or even game/entertainment area. The sign does have some rust and a few holes commensurate with its age, but in this case, it just adds to the “art” of the piece. The colors still hold their vibrancy.
