French Chocolat Menier Wooden Crate Table
French Chocolat Menier Wooden Crate: This vintage wooden crate is circa 1940-1950 and was imported in 2014. Menier Chocolat was founded in Paris, France, in 1816. To make it more user friendly, we added a glass top to serve as a small table or display center as well as a place to store misc. items. Originally, a hardware company, began preparing and selling a variety of medicinal powders. For the first few years, the company's chocolate production was very limited, as its prime usage was as a medicinal powder and for coating bitter-tasting pills. Chat over a bit of history when you bring this unique piece into your home! Add some sweetness to your rustic/farmhouse décor while creating some additional storage for those special items...in a kitchen, laundry room, living room, etc. This item could also serve you well in staging at a commercial setting, and don’t hesitate to add a paint or stain color to this crate to give accent to your ideal space.
