Original Industrial French Vintage Wicker/Rattan Storage Basket/Trolley Cart with Metal Frame. Circa early 1940s. The sides and base are made from wicker/rattan and are in excellent condition given the years of use. There is a spot of a minor break on one side and a few minor holes in the bottom but nothing significant considering the years of use (refer to images). The heavy-duty steel frame is supported by large metal castors for easy movement. However, one wheel is missing on this unit. This would once have been used in either a commercial laundry, hotel, or mill. This is a very versatile piece which could be used for storage of many items: toys, logs, linens etc, or as a display unit in a residential or commercial setting. Place a large glass top on, add four bar stools and create a unique table. Or, ask us to do that for you? The trolley exhibits great original green patina and rust in metal with cosmetic wear from years of use. Awesome Find!
