Japanese Moriage Porcelain Vase
This Japanese Moriage Porcelain Vase is a palette of colorful detailed work of an expert craftsman. Moriage Style depicts the hand painted raised enamel stylized bead work that creates the elaborate imperial scene generally representing the Meiji Period. Meiji style work is highly sought after in today’s market. Vases of the Meiji Period were primarily being produced from 1858-1912. The condition of this piece is excellent! There are no chips or cracks in the porcelain. A crest/stamp cannot be identified to confirm authenticity but the high level of hand crafted workmanship can easily be compared and seen by a buyer if one researches other “like” pieces in the market. The Moriage work is exceptional. The vase’s bright, beautiful colors and size would brighten any room.
