Vintage French Wine Bottle/Demijohn: This is an authentic old hand-woven wicker Demijohn (Demijennaues) from circa 1920-1930 Europe. These truly OLD wicker wrapped wine jugs are getting almost impossible to find. It's a real art form and one can only imagine the amount of work and time that went into actually creating them. The authentic ones like this won't be in perfect condition, but that's part of their charm and character. There is one handle of the wicker detached at top and green paint on one side of the jug. These have become extremely popular in the interior design market with designers using them to grace everything from kitchens, to dining rooms, to living and great rooms. A restaurant, wine tasting room or vineyard would also make a great new home for this Demijohn.
