Antique White and Black Leather Button-up Baby Booties
Very Precious little Antique White and Black Leather Button-up Baby Booties with four button slits on each boot (buttons are missing). They were originally sold by Potter’s Shoes in Cincinnati, OH. The original tag is still intact. They are numbers located in the bootie: 2 D 3973 , next line 317. We are sure this has to do with the size and possibly style of the shoe. These are antique and present their original patina and charm . The lady who wore and owned these darling shoes was called Aunt Carolyn who resided all her life in the Baltimore, Maryland area as a librarian. She never married, nor had children. She passed in 2010 in her late eighties. She had a box of treasured items that contained these shoes, her own first pair of baby shoes, two antique micro beaded purses, as well as her own first baby hair brush/comb set. We do have these items also listed on our site, if you're interested in viewing. These sweet shoes are worn and discolored but in good condition considering their age. They would be great for photo prop, decor in a vintage baby’s room, or to display among your vintage & antique art.
