These Empty Collectable Vintage Prince Albert Pipe and Cigarette Tins 1.5oz were manufactured by the R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company. Prince Albert is an American brand of hand-rolled-cigarette and pipe tobacco, introduced by the R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company in 1907. Prince Albert is one of the more popular independent brands of pipe tobacco in the United States; in the 1930s, it was the "second largest money-maker" for Reynolds. The tins still possess their brilliant red and black coloring with a clear tobacco pipe & cigarette graphics. There are some scratches, marks, and a little rust on some of the tins. The pictures represent the basic condition of the lot. We have a total of 24 tins, selling in lots of 6 or 12. These tins have been used in the present day in a variety of ways: to display as décor in a country/farm kitchen or a study/den. Collectors love to gather these pieces of history and add to their collection. All can still be used to store miscellaneous items...even tobacco.
