1900 Chicken Roost Entryway Storage/Wall Cubby
This 1900 Chicken Roost Entryway Storage/Wall Cubby is wonderfully created storage space. With some creative inspiration an old roost was taken, cleaned up, polished and painted with inviting words of faith, hope, friends, and family. The roost offers individual storage spaces for members of the family or guests and then stained & sanded barn wood was added to allow for space for scarves, hats etc to be added. Originally the roost was picked from the Water Valley Flea Market in Alabama and combined with circa 1850 barn wood from Plainwell, MI. Imagine the number of chickens that have roosted here over the years! Imagine the horses, cattle and other livestock that was housed under the original barn wood that now frames the base!
