Pair- Antique Lantern Floor Lamps, Mica Shades, Stamped Rembrandt
A pair of Antique Lantern Floor Lamps, Mica Shades, Stamped Rembrandt are a “one of a kind” pair. Each lamp base is stamped/embossed on the bottom with Rembrandt, #7092 Patent Pending. The lamps have genuine Mica Shades giving them that “amber” look. Mica is a natural mineral mined from the earth to create dramatic, warm lighting. The metal structure of the lamps are made mostly of brass. The solid base, top lantern piece, and knuckle joints are of brass; however, other parts of the lamp such as lantern’s window pane panels that envelope the mica shades are solid copper and part of the lamp's cylinder structure appear to have a copper plating. The lamps possess their original electrical wiring and fixtures and are in safe working order. As you can see in the pictures, they are in working condition. One of the lantern window panels did have to be resoldered but the repair is nearly unnoticeable. As the Games of Thrones series, as well as many others such as The Vikings, Witcher, etc. have become popular, so have the medieval/gothic decor! These unique lamps would be quite the conversation piece in such a setting. They would look exceptional in any traditional office space, a man cave, or even in a rustic or traditional living room could home them exquisitely! Market comps for similar lamps of age, metals, and shade range from $1,000 -$1,200 for one lamp.
