This piano stool is from the early 1900s and is a must have for anyone that owns an antique piano. We picked it from a retired antique dealer that had relocated from California to Colorado. We totally disassembled it, re-glued all the joints, filled the cracks, re-stained the wood, polished and hammer-steel painted the corkscrew steel height adjustment, and then sealed the entire piece with five coats of Tung oil. As the finishing touch, we selected and applied a period-correct Victorian fabric with gold tassel trim and polished brass tacks to top off the upholstery.
