While we normally don't advertise the price of our picks, this one is too good not to. We found this circa late 1800s Art Nouveau with intricate carvings in an Alabama antique shop and, by bundling it with several other items, snagged it for $2. That's right... two dollars! It was literally falling completely apart, tossed in a corner, and was to be thrown in the trash. With just a little love and affection it was brought back to life. What a story to tell hanging on your kitchen, office, craft room, or bedroom wall. Then add a bit of your own history by adding pictures, stories, recipes. to make it your own.
